How to get text only email notification...

    Hi,
    The Admin email is in HTML format.
    We'd like to have it TEXT only.
    What steps do I need to take to make that happen?

    Currently notifications emails are only sent as HTML. If you want to send them as plain text you would have to edit the core plugin files and change the mimetype. If you do so, you would have to keep track of this change so you can apply it when we release an automatic update as you will have to re-apply your change.

    We can look into adding a hook for this so you can do so by adding code to your theme rather then having to change the plugin files.

    Would you be able to add a hook?
    Is that a big deal?
    Would it take you years?
    I'm sure you have plenty of stuff to do.

    I will discuss it with our lead developer and see if it poses issues to add a hook to the email type so it can be changed that way.

    Is it easier to change the source code? I'm not too concerned about upgrade glitches.
    Especially if changing the base code isn't a big deal.
