How to move my forms to another website?

  1. Am I able to move the configuration of my forms from one environment to another? This is relevant for moving from a dev/test environment to production or for being able to pick up and use existing form definitions for new websites.

Hi there - I did this recently but instead of following the instructions above, I used the BackupBuddy plugin (a premium plugin you'd have to pay for). That plugin enabled me to shift EVERYTHING to a new site/domain, i.e., the themes, plugins, database tables (including all Gravity Forms settings) etc. I was amazed by how quick the process was.

    Cheers

P.S. Forms export has been 'promised' for an upcoming GF release, although for understandable reasons the GF team is *very* tight lipped on release dates... :)

  3. Yes, BackupBuddy works great. We use it internally also. It's great for migrating an entire site from one server to another.

Form import/export is coming in the next major release. We are wrapping up development on a new WordPress product that we will be releasing soon and then we will be wrapping up the next version of Gravity Forms.
