How to upload an image before submitting the form

  1. Two questions:
1> I am currently using gravity forms to upload an image. But currently cannot view the image since ony the file location is shown. I wish to view the image (say by pressing upload button on the form).
    2>
Secondly I am linking all the elements of the form to ADVANCED CUSTOM FIELDS (new type defined already) metadata. So the submission in gravity form shows up in the ACS fields. [ by linking each field name in ACS to the fields in Gravity forms]. In fact in ACS there is a much better version of image upload where the actual image shows up as an icon. This is a REAL DRAWBACK OF GRAVITY FORMS.
How do I link the ACF and the GF such that the image uploaded in GF shows up in ACF ?

    Any help appreciated...

Gravity Forms doesn't have a built-in way to upload files before a form is submitted, and as far as I know there isn't an on-change event that you could easily hook into.

Also, I'm not familiar with ACS or ACF, so I can't really comment on how to get the two plugins to talk to each other effectively.

Can you tell me more about what you are trying to accomplish with ACF and ACS (I am assuming ACS is the Access Control plugin I saw on the WordPress Plugin Repository?) and I can try to help point you in the right direction.
