HTML not rendering in notifications or posts made from GF

When I get my e-mail notifications they don't appear to be formatted with the HTML. I just see the plaintext.

This also happens during my pages/posts that are created from my form.

It appears as one big giant paragraph.

I'm guessing I need to add all the formatting to the HTML manually when I'm creating the post?

    Thank You!

This kind of issue usually happens when there is a theme or plugin conflict. Can you please go through the following troubleshooting steps to isolate? Also, are you using the latest WordPress and Gravity Forms versions? http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

Do I need to add the HTML formatting manually (Inside the form where I have the merge tags etc. for it to render?)

Can you use single quotes in your notifications message and see if that fixes things?

I'll try that and try to do a force re-send notifications on an entry that has the files already.

With new submissions, I'm not able to test them as my attachment fields aren't being saved in the entries anymore..

I tried re-sending the notifications on an entry that had attachments from last week when they were still properly storing in the database.

It outputs the link on the screen but doesn't execute the actual html and render it as an image.

    So now it reads as...

    Image - <img src="http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/8-510750ca11fe481410089cb5962d3a14/2013/03/Recap030713.jpg"/> Receipt

That code works fine if i copy and paste it into the post that was generated by GF.

However for the notification e-mail it does not just the code.

    Thank You

By default, e-mail notifications should be sent as HTML e-mails. Did you try our troubleshooting steps above?

Yes, I tried disabling the plugins as well as switching the theme to default and same results.
