HTML Tags appearing in default field value

  1. Hi,

This appears to have happened overnight, but I can't really think of anything I've done to cause it.

I have a Tex Area field set up with its default value set as a few lines of text. When I view the field within our website now, it displays HTML tags (
<p> tags etc.) in the field. Can anyone help me to stop these displaying in the field, or advise what I may have done to cause this?

    Thanks!

  2. This is most likely from a theme of plugin conflict. Please begin by testing for theme and plugin conflicts by following these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing

Let us know what you find out. Please post a link to your site where the form is embedded.

  3. The page I'm having this issue on is:
    http://soletraderwebsites.com/index.php/2step-part2

It's in the Homepage text field that I'm having this issue. I'll have a look into plugins and theme compatibility issues in a short while and report back if I have any luck!

    Thanks.

  5. I found out that a plugin called Cookie Monster was causing this issue! A shame, but I'm sure I'll find another way of setting up the process that was using cookie monster.

Glad you were able to figure it out. It might be worth your while to let the developer of that plugin know about the conflict so that it can be resolved in a future version.
