IE7 Issue - Checkboxes Not Working Right

    Hello,

Some visitors to my client's site were complaining of the form not working and unable to submit. After some testing I discovered that in IE7 the form comes back with errors on the check box fields. "This field is required, enter a value." Even if a value IS entered.

    Please check:

(If you submit a test, please us TEST on the text fields to avoid confusion by client.

I have not yet tested IE6, but I know there is an issue with IE7.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  2. Gravity Forms has been tested and works fine normally with IE7. You most likely have a plugin conflict or other script conflict originating from your theme.

I'll take a look asap and let you know what I can find out.

For the record, we don't support IE6. It's dead Jim.

  3. I have tested several times and I'm unable to recreate the reported issue on your form. I'm using Internet Explorer version 7.0.5730.13.

I do see that your theme has a script that changes the default inputs for radio/checkboxes. It's possible that could be causing intermittent problems. If so, I would disable that script and see if it remedies the issue.

Hmmm... Thanks for the help. Weird you couldn't reproduce the issue. We are testing on the same version browser, and it happens to me every time.

    Did you submit the form?

  5. I had submitted just to see if the validation was misbehaving with the checkboxes/radios fields. In going back, I do see an oddity with the single checkbox.

Does the form work in the default preview window?

Can you export your form and send me the XML so I can test it out? If so, please send to kevin@rocketgenius.com
