The css for IE 9 is making my forms unreadable. I've done some minor css customization, but since this is an internal site, i can only give a screenshot. If anyone might be able to help me with this, I'd be much appreciated.

    I have a screenshot I can send.

If you want to write your CSS for your forms from scratch, you could do the following:
    - Go to Settings
    - Select No for Output CSS and No for HTML5.

See if that gives you an improvement.

You can send your screenshot to peralty@rocketgenius.com but it will be hard to support without being able to see the site live.

Yeah, that looks like your theme CSS has already taken over and made a nice mess of things. What theme are you using?

    BuddyPress Corporate theme. http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/buddypress-corporate-theme

I am trying to find a way to turn off all the form CSS from the theme. What do you think?

That might help you. It definitely does have its own form styling which could be causing your design issues.
