Include draft post number in confirmation message?

    Hi guys,

    Is there a way to include the draft post number with the user notification / confirmation message for a form submission which creates a post?

    Is there also a way to email this confirmation number to the user?

    The project I'm trying to use this for requires users to enter a contest by creating a post but they need a confirmation number / id to follow up.

    I've had a look through the plugin notification options and support documentation but couldn't find anything relevant.

    Currently this isn't possible, but we can look at making the Post ID a variable that you can use in email notifications, etc. I can see if we can get it into the next release. We already store that information so it shouldn't be too difficult.

    Thanks for the quick reply, I figured including the post number would be a natural extension of the post form functionality.

    Any idea on when the next release is due?

    We are wrapping up development and testing this week and next. My guess is it will be released at the beginning of the 2nd week in October. But that is dependent on testing going well, etc. We also don't want to release too often as it can be annoying to constantly be upgrading.

    But we are adding some cool new features in the v1.2 release that will make a lot of users happy so it will be another good upgrade.
