Installation Fatal Error

  1. I purchased the full license. I am using WP 2.9.2 and studio press genesis and genesis child theme (platinum) and keep getting this error when I attempt to install the gravity forms plugin via the wordpress upload dashboard interface:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/vg005web09/50/49/3014950/web/site/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php on line 45

  2. This is a PHP Version issue that is covered here (2nd item down):

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/frequently-asked-questions/

Gravity Forms requires PHP5+ and judging from this error you are probably trying to activate the plugin on a site running PHP4. Check with your web host and make sure you have PHP5 enabled.
