integration with WP login, user setup, social networking login

  1. 1 - would somebody at gravity PLEASE respond to the SO FAR 6 email requests for help I've sent - my license never arrived - I suspect my paypal account used a different email or an old one - so I'm stuck without access to documentation and support and have received ZERO response from Gravity

2 - can the forms submit create a user profile at the same time within a blog?

3 - Can submit button be integrated with social profile information, ie, login to submit using your FB, TWITTER or whatever account, create a user profile and submit form at the same time? (Otherwise I have to manually create a new account for every form submission for this particular form - users are submitting contest entries).

  2. Judy,

You have to register on the forums with the same email address you used during your purchase to have the system authenticate your account properly and give you access to the support forums. Between your purchase and the two accounts you created on this forum already, there are 3 different email addresses used.

As I mentioned in the earlier email, We've only received one email from you to our addresses and responded to that within minutes. There must have been some other disconnect there.

As far as your questions, No, there isn't any built in way to create user profiles along with the form submission and no built in way to integrate with the social network logins as you mentioned.

There are a variety of hooks available in the code that would let write some custom PHP to interact with the form if you know how to do that. If not, you could always hire a developer to create and integrate the custom functionality for you. We would be happy to recommend a developer if you would like.

NOTE: I'm moving this thread to a support topic rather than the feature requests category.

  3. Thanks kevin - I am happy to have finally gotten in touch with someone. I've downloaded the new link and validated my form.

re development - I'm not sure that something that would be so globally useful and is so active in so many plugins would be something I should investigate development. I will just create a different path for the form - using it not for the contest submissions, as I had hoped, but for something else, perhaps. Not sure - without the integration, I may not be able to use it at all in this particular instance.

I will say that the form interface is one of the best in WP I have encountered. Good work on that!

  4. Judy,

First of all, welcome. I'm pleased you're settled in here now. Just let us know if you have other questions and we'll be happy to help out all we can.

Thanks for the props on the UI. We try to make the plugin as full-featured as possible and still keep the interface easy to understand and use.
