Intermittent PayPal Issue

  1. I have added the PayPal add-on to a client's Gravity form. Transactions are going through and I have also had success testing the form as well. However, some visitors to my client's site are claiming that upon clicking "Submit" they are not directed to PayPal and merely get the "Thank you" message, yet their payment obviously is not going through. Do you know anything about this issue? Might there be an issue with some browsers? Can you point me in the right direction as to how to possibly resolve this issue?

  3. Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this issue?

  4. I just tested from Chrome on Linux and it directed me to PayPal as expected.

When the people manage to get around PayPal, is there anything in their entries that might help you figure this out?

It should not be browser specific, but you never know.

  5. I just tested with every product and I was sent to PayPal in every case, and the total there was correct. I never completed a transaction, so you should not have any entries from me.

  6. I'm unable to reproduce this issue. I've tested the form and it's acting as expected and redirecting me to PayPal to complete the transaction. If the issue can't be replicated it can't be debugged. If you figure out a way to replicate it, let us know and we can look into it further but right now there doesn't appear to be anything wrong.

  7. Thank you for testing it. More and more I am thinking it is a browser related problem. I have tested it as well and it works fine. Employees at a company are having problems registering and paying for a course. Might it be that the company has some setting on the browser that is preventing the user from getting to PayPal?

  8. Can you reduce it down to the types of browsers or location within the company?

Do you have access to the web server logs that you can correlate to the times that they attempted the forms?
