Is it possible to add shortcodes to post body field?

    I was just wondering if it would somehow be possible to add shortcodes to the post body... this would be amazing!

    The Post Body field should already allow the user to input a shortcode. The Content Template feature of the Post Body field also supports shortcodes. So you should already be able to do this.

    I thought that I had tried... but I was using a plugin that didn't use a shortcode, it used a separate tag like code... i think it was getting filtered out or something. thank you!
