Is possible to create and auto-generated code in confirmation e-mails??

    Hi,

We have a client that wants landing pages that make the following process:

    1. Our client wants to create a lead database and is offering a special offer to everyone that completes the form.

    2. The users must complete a “census like” form.

    3. The form must be divided in sections, so the next section appears only when the user ends the Actual Section and hits NEXT.

    4. After they complete the form, the system must be able to send a confirmation e-mail to the user with an auto-generated code and a coupon.

    5. A copy of that confirmation e-mail (with the auto-generated code) must be sent to our client and to the exact authorized distributor the user selected while completing the form.

    6. And the user data must be stored in a database for export.
    Another question:

Is possible to remove your branding, and design something exclusively for our client??? (Including; colors, logo, etcetera)

Please let me know if this is possible.

    Thanks a lot.

  2. Gravity Forms can do most of what you're looking for; however, a couple of the requested items would require a little extra programmatic customization. These customizations are made possible through the use of Gravity Forms' many hooks and filters, but they do require some programming knowledge.

The items that would require some additional customization are multi-page forms and auto generating a confirmation code. All other requests can be fulfilled by default Gravity Forms' features.

  3. As for branding, Gravity Forms is designed to look like WordPress. It doesn't have it's own branding, and looks like the rest of the WordPress admin.

    Oh! That’s great!

I’m planning on buying the Developer Support License, but I just wanted to be really sure that this could be done.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

  5. Hiya,

Would any of you be able to provide more specifics on how to go about auto-generating a code for each submission?

I'm happy coding but don't quite know where to start...

    Cheers,
    Phil

  6. @philipjohn I'm not 100% sure what you are referring to as far as auto-generating a code? Do you mean generating some sort of unique id with each form submission?

  7. @philipjohn I am going to ask that you create a new topic in the regular support forums, as you have already purchased Gravity Forms. We'll be happy to help you with your customization there. Please give a detailed explanation of what you're trying to accomplish and we'll give it our bext shot. Thank you.
