Is this possible?

Is it something that is possible with Gravity Forms:
Using a drop down, to select the number of siblings somebody has, eg: 1,2,3,4 or 5+
Then make depending on the response, other fields appear.
Say if they selected 5, 5 groups of 2 text boxes, asking them for name, age of each (and all are required as they selected 5).
If they selected 1, only 1 group of 2 text boxes would appear (and be required). etc

    Thanks.

Think I have worked this out with Conditional Logic. But it would be cool if we could (or can we?) group fields together and set the Conditional Logic based on the group as a whole, rather than needing to do each form item's conditions individually.

Would be a real time saver.

  3. Currently this is only possible with conditional logic and adding all the fields to the form and show/hiding them based on selections. There isn't currently functionality for dynamically adding fields based on a user selection. This is a feature we would like to add in the future, but it is a pretty complex feature so it would necessitate a lot of planning to implement properly. For now Conditional Logic is the only option.

Conditional logic was fine for what I needed, just an enhancement would have been to be able to group fields together, and those fields together hide or display based on the condition (the group has the condition), rather than having to repeat the same condition across each field individually....if that makes sense. Would just save time. :)

  7. @chrisclark - wow, yeah. good point. Since YOU'RE in the future why don't you whip that up for us? In the mean time, this is still something that's on the to-do list for OUR future.. maybe your past.. I'm not sure. There have been other more requested items that we HAVE tackled along the way in the past year so we're working down the list towards this kind of feature.

Oh, and say hello to Doc Brown for us if you happen to run into him too :)

  8. I do this by using the Conditional Logic in Section Breaks...Example:

The dropdown field has 2 options A & B. If A is selected 2 fields for A is shown and the same for B

You can view a working example here - http://www.stayanight.co.za/v3/gravity-forms-section-breaks
