jquery mobile doesn't like gravity forms:(

  1. I've got a jquery mobile site for my church. When I add in a gravity form in any fashion, the jquerymobile page goes blank. Just wanted to see by chance if you have seen this error...

html validates html5 with no errors on wc3.

I'm not using ajax form or anything:
    [gravityform id=1 name=GoodFriday - Easter Volunteer title=false description=false]

    Code from the page:

  2. Bump. This seems to be a common problem, according to Google. Can we get some support on this one?

  3. There's no need to be curt.. especially in your first post here. Often times these questions do get answered via email support and the threads don't always get updated accordingly. I'm not sure if that's the case here or not, but nonetheless I ran some tests and here's what I found.

I downloaded and installed the free jQuery Mobile WordPress theme I found here.
    http://www.webdevcat.com/themes

I activated the theme, tested it with several different forms and all of the forms displayed and worked properly. That said some of the advanced formatting in my test forms is not best suited for smaller resolutions, but the forms worked just fine in the mobile version of Safari.

So, if they're working properly here, it's possible that there is another issue at play. Most likely conflict with the theme or another plugin. Here's some useful information on testing for conflicts.

I'll continue to test further and will post if I find any issues.

  4. Lol. Thank you Kevin. Wasn't being curt. Just bumPing the post.
That said, I for one appreciate the reply and will look into my theming techniques to resolve the issue on my end. Thanks again. And should you find anything before I do please update this post. I will do the same. Blessings. Todd

  6. It appears to break during some key fields uses. For instance, in the new gf, you can add a post meta/extra field but format it as a date. When doing that, Gravity Forms puts in the <label> after the input which is something jquerymobile doesn't seem to like:(

  7. Okay, thanks. We'll check it out.

  8. Actually, just did another test... post extra field using date option works. post extra field using time field does not.

  9. Yep, tried a few times with different variations and options on the post custom fields and haven't been able to replicate any problems. So far all of my forms have shown up and functioned properly.

I'm testing in Mobile Safari on an iPhone and iPad.
