list columns not sending all data

    This form isn't working properly:

    http://www.cashsmart.net/site/applying/budget-and-contacts/

Using lists for the $ Amount and Frequency of amount week/fn/month columns but the data isn't returning both fields, just one.

Same thing with the contacts list at the bottom.

  3. Where is the data not returning properly? You said "the data isn't returning both fields" - where do you mean?

I mean that if someone enters info in all of the columns, we only see ONE of the columns when the results are emailed or posted into the dashboard. Make sense? I would expect to see separate "data bits" for every text field on our form. Or do lists perform some other function altogether?

  5. Can you export the form as XML and send it to me at chris@rocketgenius.com please?

Go to Forms > Import/Export > top center menu item "Export Forms"

  6. I took a look at your form. You need to label the columns in each list field you used. As soon as I did that (amount and frequency) the data was captured and displayed.

In my example I provided CSS to hide those labels, since you were labeling the columns up top with an HTML field. If you have trouble hiding the labels with the CSS I provided, please post a link to the form online and I will help again with that.

Hi Chris, what example and what CSS? Did you mean to post links to something?

Each of those items in my page (income, other income, etc) is a separate field and each has it's own Field Label. Did you mean I need to add an admin label? Not sure how to do that for each column as you're suggesting.

  8. The CSS in the example I worked on for you the other day. Here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/creating-a-form-structured-like-a-table#post-122824

In each field, you need to give each column of your multiple columns a name. Then the name (the label actually) is hidden with the CSS I provided in the post linked above.

    See this screenshot: http://minus.com/lbiaOn9LX0sw04

See where I added Amount and Frequency to your Income field? That's what you need to do for each list field you added to the form. Then you will start seeing the data in your entry properly.
