Lost form

  1. Somehow, I lost my form. It was there last night and as of this morning, it has disappeared. I'm the only one with access to the site, so I don't think anyone else would have deleted it.

Any ideas? I believe this happened after I did the latest update.

  2. Hi nwtech,

We haven't had any reports of forms disappearing after updating. Were there any other changes you made to your setup before you noticed the form was gone?

  3. No. It literally happened over night. I thought it was very strange. Last night I implemented a SSL cert for the domain and used a plugin to force SSL to the page on the site that includes this form. Everything worked, including the SSL. Then this morning, the form was just gone from the dashboard and site.

I'll try disabling plugins and double checking the database for the form.

  6. I did transfer this site (export and import the form content as well) from a dev site to another domain about 48 hours prior to this happening. I mention this in reference to another user having similar troubles: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/forms-missing-after-migration

  7. nwtech,

I see that you moved your form from a dev site to a production site. Did you re-insert the license key to see if that would fix it? Just a thought.

  8. It sounds like something didn't migrate properly. Do you still have access to the dev site? If so, here is what I suggest..

    - Go to the dev site, use the Import/Export tool in Gravity Forms and choose Export Forms and then export the forms you need to the form XML file.

    - Uninstall Gravity Forms on the live site by going to the Gravity Forms Settings page and choose Uninstall. THIS WILL DELETE ALL GRAVITY FORMS DATA.

    - Then after you do the uninstall, delete Gravity Forms from the site.

    - Upload and re-install Gravity Forms.

    - Import the forms using the Import/Export tool and selecting Import Forms and upload the xml file you downloaded when you did the export from the dev site.

    - Test and see if you can create and edit forms.

  9. Carl,

I followed your instructions, upon uploading and reactivating the plugin, i'm prompted with a list of errors (see screenshot)

  10. My issue is resolved and was a result of our MySQL server. Apparently it went wonky after an OS update. My issue is not an issue with Gravity Forms. Sorry!
