Make a submitted field in a form become the title attribute of a post

I have a form that any user can submit, and that will result in content being posted to the front page of my site. The form has at least 2 fields, Japanese name & English name. The Japanese name becomes the title of the post automatically, and I would like to have the English name become the content of the title attribute of the post, so that whenever an user hovers over the Japanese name they can see the English name as well.

    Can this be done?

The only way I could think to do this would be to make the English version be a custom field, and then in your theme, pull the custom field value as the title element on your post title.

    Thanks for your reply.

I created a custom field as you suggested, and submitted the form. However, when I go to the new post that got created and look through the source code of the website, I can't find the contents of the custom field (if the contents were 'ENGLISH TITLE', I can't find that in the source code).

How does GV output that content, and would I go about fetching it for my personal uses?
