Make field label a watermark

    Hi,

i just purchased the developer edition of gravity and am struggling with something that i'm probably just too blind to see.

I would like to set a watermark text for my fields. So instead of showing a label above or next to the field, i would like to put the label inside the field itself. Upon focus the watermark disappears and the user can write into the field.

Can somebody quickly let me know how this works?

    Thanks !

  2. I've implemented this for a client that worked great, its semantic and has good fall-back support and validation stays intact.

There is also a variant way to do this here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/clearing-default-form-field-values-with-jquery/

    Thanks for your response!

I'm not a coder. I meant an option that let's me add a watermark with no code. Contact form 7 does this quite simply on a per field basis.

I'm sure a 200 USD plugin can do that at least as easily as a free one!
