Merge Tags

  1. Hi,

Forgive my ignorance, but I've just started using Gravity Forms, and I have no idea what merge tags are, how to use them, and where to put them.

Is there a list of these tags and any documentation on them.

    Thanks in advance,
    Greg

  2. Merge codes are used in the notification messages to display specific pieces of the data you've captured in your form. If you set up your notification message using the {all_fields} merge code, it will automatically format and include all of the fields from your form. You can choose to manually format your message by using specific merge codes to only show a portion of the information if you prefer such as name, email, etc.

The available codes are based on the form fields in each form and can be inserted using a drop down selector (insert form field) in the notifications editor.
