Multi-site to business

  1. Now when "Multi-site" becomes business license.

    Will existing users continue to have 5 licenses?

  2. Yes, everything is grandfathered. Existing multi-site license holders can still use Gravity Forms on up to 5 sites.

  3. I just noticed this change as well. I currently hold a single site license, and wanted to upgrade, but after noticing the drop in sites supported, and not being able to use a coupon code to upgrade, I'm left dumbfounded.

  4. With the new business license, yes, you're limited to 2 fewer sites, but you also gain access to the Basic Form Add-ons like MailChimp and Campaign Monitor that were previously reserved for Developer License holders. Other Add-Ons are in the works, so that will even sweeten the pot more.

    You can update directly from within the plugin itself now, on the settings page without a coupon. It knows what your current license is and will discount the upgrade price to allow for what you've already paid.

  5. I understand that it will discount the upgrade price from what I've already paid, however, I'm talking about external coupons, such as SEODENVER or WOOFORM20.

    Why can't existing users get extra discounts like a new user would?

  6. @DomainSoil When we manually created coupon codes for upgrades we don't combine other discounts. Coupon codes are for initial purchases only. We don't allow double dipping with coupon codes as far as discounts go on upgrades go. However, we do give users upgrading from the Single/Personal to the Developer a $50 upgrade discount rather than a $39 upgrade discount. That is automatic when using the built in license upgrade functionality.

  7. Nice to hear that.
    One question I didn't ask before purchasing. What happens after the year subscription expires?
    1) I will get no updates but plugins will work;
    2) All plugins will stop working.

  8. After your initial subscription expires the plugin and add-ons keep working normally. Auto-updates will be disabled and your support access will be suspended. If you want to re-up the subscription, we do that at a discounted rate and offer a little grace period in case you do miss the anniversary date.
