Multiple steps not working for required fields.

    Hi guys,

First of all amazing work with this plugin, it is truly all inclusive package. Now to the issues ;)

I know this is a beta still, but I wanted to make sure that this issue has been reported already. When I try to create a multi step package. If I have a field on the second step that is required, I will not be able to get past the first step. I was getting an error saying that the error has been highlighter but I would not see anything. Once I went into the other steps and took out the display:none; I saw that those were the fields giving problem.

    Thanks,

  2. What version of Gravity Forms v1.5 are you using? You can find this on the Settings page of Gravity Forms. We've released numerous development builds of 1.5 so it's important to know which version this is in reference to before we debug. It may have already been fixed in the more recent releases.

Carl I also have just tested with Paypal 1.0beta6, and the new Gravity Forms 1.5RC4.

I have a user registration form, with the following fields:

    Step 1 -

    First - Last
    Email
    UserName
    Password - Cofirm Password

    Step 2 -

    Site Title
    Site Name (sub-domain)

    Step 3 -

    Address (advanced field)
    Package

Once I try to get past the first step, I get an error on on the "Site Name (sub-domain)" field on step 2. So I cannot proceed to step 2. I only found this information by removing the display none from the other steps.

I am thinking that maybe I cannot have User Registration fields in different steps? Is that the problerm?

    Thanks for your help!

  5. We are having the same issue. Both on a local server (MAMP) and a dev server (apache/ubuntu). Tried with RC3 all last week and RC4 just now.

  6. We are looking into this issue, it's most likely how the custom validation is being handled with the user registration add-on. The developer on our team who is working on the add-on is looking into it and will respond to this thread once he has determined the issue or if he needs additional information from either of you.

  7. Hello Edwin and Concepta, I've sent you both emails with an update version of the User Registration Add-on that should resolve this issue.

  9. Good to hear. We will be releasing a new beta of the User Registration Add-On very soon with this fix (along with others) incorporated.
