multiple submission

  1. Hi all,
Does anyone know if there's a code that can disallow for multiple entries by the same person? for example, if someone named Ashley b has already submitted I can stop them for submitting a second entry.

You can set the fields to require unique entries in the form editor. It is one of the settings that requires a check and it will block duplicate submissions.

  3. Quick question...

If someone has once submitted the form -- and does so again... does it update it?

Or does not allow it to be done again?

    Thank you!

  4. Daniel,

That would be two independent submissions, not one.

  5. Rob thank you for the prompt response! :)

I guess what I'm trying to ask is:

How do we make it so - that there is only one submission (but if a user submits more than one form) it simply gets updated.

    Thank you!

There is no way currently to have users update their submissions. The Directory Add-on created by a third party might allow you to do this, but I'm don't know for sure. http://wordpress.org/plugins/gravity-forms-addons/

You'll want to ask its developer before trying it out.
