    Is there a way to send different notification emails based on a drop down selection in a form?

    This is possible with Admin Notifications using a feature called Routing.

    When setting up an Admin Notification one of the options on the Send To is "Routing". Select this option and a UI will appear that allows you to route the email to a specific address based on the value of a select, radio button or checkbox field.

    User Notifications do not have routing capabilities specifically because it is designed to be sent to the user submitting the form.
