Muti Page Forms

  1. I'm wanting to produce a 3 page form. The goal is to capture the information from each page once they progress to the next page. I would like all of the enteries to be on one form in the admin section so that I'm not having to combine three different form entries into one. Is this somthing I can do? If so, how?

I hope you understand what I'm wanting to do. Thanks, David

  2. Multi-page form functionality like you describe has been added to version 1.5 which is about to release. You can download the latest release candidate version from the downloads page if you want to install it and play around with it.

Here's a quick glimpse of the functionality.

  3. Cool this is getting really close to what I need. I have another question. Say I have a two page form. The first page is general information and the second is more specific information. The individual who is entering the form is comfortable with the first page of info but not the second. Is there a way to capture the first page without them pressing the submit button on the second page.

I know we can do this with 2 seperate forms and 2 seperat pages but I would like to keep the information within one form submition. This would be easier to keep track of.

    Any thoughts?

  4. Information on multi-page forms is not committed until the last page in the process is submitted. So no, they would have to submit each page.

But what you can do is have a drop down in page 1 that asks them if they would like to provide additional information. Then use conditional logic on Page 2 to only show Page 2 if they elected to provide additional information.

This way if they didn't want to provide additional information when they submit Page 1 they would be done. If they opted to include additional information when they submit Page 1 it would then go to Page 2.
