Name advanced field (normal) not selectable in ie6

    Greetings,
    Have a weird issue with 2 sites I am running gravity forms on. I am using the "Name" advanced field at the top, in normal mode (2 fields for first and last) it is not selectable in ie6, where as the other advanced fields are selectable. When I switch to simple mode, it is selectable?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I'm not sure what you mean by selectable. You can input data into it?

    Gravity Forms front end markup isn't anything unusual, it's simple form markup. It doesn't use javascript or anything to render the form. So there isn't anything it does on the front end that shouldn't work in pretty much any browser. The admin, however, isn't necessarily compatible with IE6.

    Whats the front end URL to the form you are having the issue with?

  4. You are correct. However, it appears to be specific to your site and theme. I have tested other forms that contain the First and Last Name version of the Name field in IE6 and they work fine.

    Try these two forms in IE6, they are on different installations:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/contact-us/

    Please note the gravityhelp.com site won't render completely right in IE6, but you can fill in the First and Last Name just fine.

    Try activating the Kubrick theme temporarily on that site and then try the form and see what happens.

  5. When I load that page in IE6 with your themes CSS not included, the form works fine.

    There is something in your themes CSS causing those fields not to be selectable.

    I narrowed it down to something in this CSS file:

    http://www.myhomeinsight.com/wp-content/themes/his/style/css/his.css

    The line of CSS it doesn't appear to like in IE6 is at the very beginning:

    div,li {position: relative;}

    When that line of CSS is removed, the First and Last Name fields work fine.
