Project: mod the authorize.net add on to work with a church database API

Description: We've been using GF very successfully in many different applications across our website. We use a special church database company, which gives us a merchant account to use for online payment processing. So far, for online donations, etc. we have been using this company's online web tools, which generates a javascript payment button to paste into the website. It's slow and clunky and often slows down the site. It also complicates registrations for events, because payment has to be handled completely separately from registration.

When GF released the authorize.net add on, I thought we were set, so I could switch everything over to that, but it turns out that we don't have our own gateway account info, somehow, that anything I do on the site needs to be routed through the database API (partly because it all has to get fed into the church database). So I can't use the add on, at least not as it stands.

I saw Naomi Bush's conversion of the authorize add on to work with Stripe, and in looking it over, I believe that something similar could be done with the add on to do what we need to do. However, it's beyond my own skill set, so I'm looking for help.

If you're interested, please contact me by email (above), not in the church office (I work from home).
