Need documentation on how to resolve theme conflict

  1. I have a form that does not appear. This just happened. It was appearing, but no longer does. I have removed all conditional logic.

I tested for a theme conflict, and there is indeed a theme conflict. However, I cannot find any documentation that will carry me past that point. The WordPress theme was built by my SEO company, and it has other issues. I don't doubt that they cut corners around best practices, but not being a web guy, I've got not idea how to approach resolving this conflict without a little direction.

The site is located at http://www.videostreamingproviders.com/quote

Any direction toward resolving this conflict with my theme would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Matt

  2. After a while of hunting around in the theme trying to resolve the issue, I finally just uninstalled Gravity Forms and re-installed. After re-installing, I rebuilt my form, and it appeared. I would update and review on my live site after each change, and even with conditional logic everything appeared normally.

But when I attempted to move a paragraph entry from below one section break up to another area of the form, the form disappeared. Deleting that paragraph caused the form to re-appear. After several attempts, I was finally able to get it to work. If I recall correctly, I turned off the conditional logic on the section break and then move the paragraph entry field, and then it worked (then I re-instated the conditional logic on the section break that was toward the bottom of my form).

So there appears to be a bug in Gravity Forms that can occur when moving elements across various section breaks where conditional logic is applied, as my issue turned out not to be a theme conflict or a plug-in conflict.

With this in mind, it would be a handy feature if there was the ability to insert a form element at a point other than at the bottom of the form, as moving elements across section breaks containing conditional logic appears to be problematic.

  4. @ssondi - can you give me a link to your form? In the future, this is how you would create a new topic: Screenshot
