Need Middle Initial/Name Field? « Gravity Support Forums

I need to have included in the name field the middle initial and/or middle name, is this possible? I don't see it in the options right now. I need to be able to have First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name and Suffix.

Currently the Name field does not support Middle Initial or Middle Name. If you need to do this you would need to use multiple Single Input fields and not use the Name field.

For your next upgrade would you be able to include this? I am creating a very long, detailed form that requires the middle initial for father, mother, child #1, child #2, child #3. I started out with the multiple single input fields, then changed to the Name field because the name would not be able to be used in the email notification "From Name" as a single input field. Now I have to go back to the multiple single input fields because the MI field won't line up properly with the "Name" advance field.

I agree with @vbush above. I need to be able to accept middle names too, and would be very nice if the "name" control could be customized with checkboxes to show what name fields should be presented.

Yep, this would be a great addition. Running into the same need for middle names on some forms and middle initials on other forms.
