New fields added in form suddenly not editable

  1. I recently updated my jquery on the backend, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the following problem.

Whenever I try to add a new field, there's no hover effect (usually in backend it goes blue when I hover with options to edit, delete, duplicate, etc.). So I can't edit a new field, but all the previous fields are allowing me to do so, which is the confusing part. Is there a field limit on a form or something? It just seems like a bug, rather than a restriction however.

  2. There is no field limit on the form, other than running out of server resources, or the resources on the computer you're editing with.

Can you try a completely different browser to ensure there is no cached jQuery?

  3. Doesn't work in IE, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

    Currently working with jquery 1.6.4

  4. I only meant a different browser which had not been used, not so much to test for browser differences.

Ideally, you would not have to jump through any hoops. Update to the latest version of WordPress and Gravity Forms and you will have the correct jQuery. Gravity Forms is known to work with that. Any other issues you are having are unrelated to Gravity Forms.

Is there a way to remove the jQuery which was included by the theme provider, and just rely on Gravity Forms and WordPress to do the right thing?

  5. We are running the latest version of gravity forms and wordpress, I don't think the custom theme is affecting the admin side of things.

  6. looks to be a conflicting plugin issue.

  7. Which plugin is causing you trouble? Plugins should not be outputting their scripts and stylesheets on any page in the admin other than their own.
