No Confirmation being displayed and no Mail, Notification or Entry being sent?!

  1. Just purchased, installed and customised my first Gravity form yesterday but when I went to actually use it with some test information - I get nothing.

The page seems to load for a second and all the fields are reset but no text confirmation is displayed as I have specified in the settings: "{Full Name:7}, Thanks for contacting us! We will get in touch with you shortly." No email is sent nor is any entry received. I'm pretty sure I have everything set up correctly as the documentation explains.

Could an SMTP issue be causing these problems?

Any help would be most appreciated!
    Thanks,
    James

  2. I should also mention no validation of required form fields is working either.

  3. No Support?

Maybe I should post a link to the form:

  4. It appears to be a plugin or theme conflict of some kind. You aren't triggering validation or receiving a confirmation because something (most likely another plugin or theme) is preventing the form from being submitted.

    Test for Theme Conflicts

    - Activate the default theme (Kubrick)
    - Test Gravity Forms to see if the form submits

If it works, then there is something in your theme, most likely in the functions.php file preventing it from functioning properly.

If it does not work then you will have to test for Plugin Conflicts.

    Test For Plugin Conflicts

    - Deactivate *ALL* Plugins
    - Activate Gravity Forms
    - Test to see if the form submits properly
    - Activate each other plugin one by one, testing Gravity Forms after each plugin you activate.
    - If you hit a plugin that causes it to stop working, make note of it and deactivate it and continue just to test all the plugins you are running.

When/if you hit a plugin(s) that is causing a conflict, let us know the results and we can look into it further.

  5. Thanks Carl, I activated the default theme and it still didn't work so I did as you said and deactivated all my plugins. I then activated the Gravity Form plugin and it still isn't working.

  6. Hey James, can you do me a favor and use the Contact Us form and send us a WordPress admin login for this site so we can take a look? It's something specific to your site setup, other users aren't experiencing it, so we will have to look at it.

  8. This issue has been resolved. It was related to IIS and permalink rewrite rules the user had in place.
