no E-mail notifcations

  1. I use hostican, and have updated Wordpress to it's latest version as well as gravityfroms, but I'm not receiving any e-mail Notifications from the form I created. I've tested several different e-mail address's and nothing. we've have your plugin on several of our sites that are hosted on hostican and none of them are having this issue

    Please help

  2. This is going to be a web server related issue. If it's working on some sites on that host and not others, it's because the web servers are configured differently. There is nothing different with Gravity Forms itself. You may need to install and configure WP SMTP to configure WordPress to send email via SMTP.

    You can find it here:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

That plugin also has a Test Email feature on it's Settings page. You can set it up to send email via PHP and save it's settings and then use the Test Email feature to see if it can send email or not. It will return details of the attempt, including an error if there is one.

  3. yes it's giving me a string of errors. But my coding knowledge isn't so good that i understand where the error is coming from or how to fix it. And this is the only site we've had that's had this issue.

  4. You will have to contact your web host, let them know what errors and explain to them PHP is unable to send email using sendmail on that server and that your other sites are using the same thing and are working fine.

  5. It's fine. I got it working now. I had to go in and create an actual e-mail account for the site as opposed the none site account they wanted to use. And to forward that account to the additional address's they wanted.

The error's I was getting plug-in were that and mainly me no supply the correct port. Thank you for your help. : )
