No longer able to add or delete fields

  1. It used to work and now it doesn't. I've had Gravity Forms for a year. I looked for conflicts.

If I try to delete a field, I get the usual message confirming my intentions. The field turns pink, but doesn't get deleted.

If I want to add a field, the button reacts to my cursor, but no field is added.

I can edit text in existing fields though.

Did you go through the instructions I linked to you? All but one percent of the time, this is a theme or plugin conflict.

  3. I did--and it is a theme conflict with Traction. So now what?

  4. Have you tried turning on the "No Conflict Mode" in the the Gravity Forms settings page. It tries to prevent themes from outputting their scripts on every page (which they shouldn't be doing).

Please contact the theme designer and ask them not to include their own JavaScript in the WordPress administration panel, except on their theme settings pages, then it won't conflict with other plugins.

  6. No Conflict Mode is on... and has been on.

  7. No Conflict mode can't prevent all conflicts. I would contact the author of the Traction theme and let him know the trouble you're having. It's possible that theme is outputting its own JavaScript on other wp-admin pages, like the one use for Gravity Forms. To prevent conflicts such as this, themes and plugins should restrict the output of their required scripts to their own management pages.
