Not being notified of new form submissions

  1. Hi,

I just found out that for the last 3 months, Gravity has failed to notify me of people filling out my contact form.

Looking at the entries, there's no pattern that would dictate why I'm not getting certain contacts. One day I would get one, 2 days later, Gravity doesn't notify me that 3 came in!?!

Where can I start troubleshooting this? I just spent 3 hours manually checking all the entries and replying back to customers by looking at the entries. Not very productive.

  2. This isn't a Gravity Forms issue, it's a web server issues. If your notifications aren't arriving it's because your web server isn't spending them. Gravity Forms doesn't send the email, it executes a WordPress function that asks your web server to do so.

Are you able to replicate the issue or is it random? Who is your web host? One web host that is notorious unreliable at sending email is GoDaddy.

  3. I'm having this same problem. I've had quite a few emails not go through over the past few months, which is very upsetting. I'll check with my host. Does GF keep any kind of log, other than the database of forms completed?
