Not receiving email of user submission

  1. I'm having a hard time figuring out why I'm not receiving an email stating that someone has filled out a form. In testing the form, I am getting the autoresponder, but I'm I missing a setting somewhere? thank you.

  2. In order to debug this i'd really have to look at your settings. Can you use the Contact Us form to send us a WordPress login for this site so I can take a look?

  5. This users issue turned out to be a server configuration issue, not a Gravity Forms issue.

If your emails are not being received it is due to one of these reasons:

    - Notifications were not turned on (these have to be manually turned on by setting up Notifications for each form)

    - Your server requires you to send email via SMTP. This requires installing a WordPress SMTP plugin. Search the plugin repository at wordpress.org for SMTP and install one of the available SMTP plugins.

    - Your mail server is blocking the email as spam.

Gravity Forms itself does not have it's own built in mail mechanism. It uses the WordPress mail function. So when mail isn't sent, it is typically for the 3 reasons I listed above.
