  2. The "2.8" is a typo. Where are you seeing that message?

    The newest version Gravity Forms currently requires WordPress 3.2 and higher.

    Our system requirements is displayed at the bottom of every page on the Gravity Forms site.

    Because of changes made to WordPress 3.0, 3.1 and then 3.2 we had to make changes to Gravity Forms to maintain compatibility and because of those changes in WordPress it's not going to run properly on old versions of WordPress.

    WordPress is changing all the time, and while it is self hosted it is a little bit like a hosted web application in that it's constantly evolving. It's highly recommended you update your version of WordPress when a new version of WordPress is available. Otherwise you don't get the security patches, bug fixes, etc.

    Like WordPress, Gravity Forms is constantly evolving to keep up with and maintain compatibility with the latest version of WordPress.

    Is there any reason why you are still running WordPress v2.9.2?

  3. No, it is what is currently installed on the site i am working on. I was going to upgrade it, but I am not sure if there is anything custom that might break on 3.2.1.

  4. The message is coming from ./common.php line1281:

    [php]
    echo "<div class='error' style='padding:10px;'>Gravity Forms
     require WordPress 2.8 or greater. You must upgrade
    WordPress in order to use Gravity Forms</div>";

    This was reported once before. We'll get it changed. Thank you.
