Notes Questions

I am looking to enhance the notes section. I am using gravity forms on a school intranet, and its handling things nicely.

But what I would like to be able to do is use the same drop downs when setting notifications to add form data to notes on a completed entry.

Is this possible? And if that is perhaps a future feature - can I use the code snippets anyways - will they render in a note?

I also notice that some forms have a note subject in there already with the users name in there - and others dont, how did I do that?!

  2. The Notes currently do not support the merge tags, so it won't work if you insert them. But it is a good idea and we can add it to our to do list so it can be included in a future release.

The Subject will use the subject of the User Notification if one is configured and automatically add RE: in front of it. If no User Notification is configured then this won't happen and the Subject will be blank by default.

Cool, thanks Carl - the notes is a great feature that we are using - the forms are doing brilliant things, we have moved all of our schools forms onto a wordpress site running gravity forms. Top stuff.

    Hope it can happen soon!

As another suggestion for when you improve the notes section - can you also set it to be able to send to multiple email addresses? Either multiple email addresses on the form or just emails I enter?

  5. We can definitely look at other ways to improve the notes in the future so that they can be sent to multiple email addresses, etc. Thanks!
