notification being sent multiple times to administrator

I have your plugin installed with 4 separate forms implemented.

My client just contacted me to let me know that they are receiving admin notifications from the same entry between 5 and 7 times. I checked the entries and sure enough, the forms show multiple entries for the same submissions.

I'm using captcha on all of my forms, is it possible an erroneous captcha code entry may trigger an admin notification?

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. This issue is most likely caused by another plugin. We have seen this issue happen when the Simple Facebook Connect plugin is present because of how the SFC processes page content multiple times resulting in multiple form submissions being sent.

The Gravity Forms v1.5 development release, which is available on the Downloads of of this site, has a work around for this issue. It prevents these other plugins from causing this to happen.

aha! and I do have Simple FB Connect plugin installed.

Ok, just to confirm, I will just need to upload the beta files to my plugin folder, disable and then enable the plugin?
Will it retain my existing forms?

    thank you again.

  4. You can download the latest development build from the Downloads page and then...

If you are installing via FTP you can install it by:

    - Deactivate Gravity Forms
    - Overwrite the plugin files in wp-content/plugins/gravityforms with the new plugin files
    - Activate Gravity Forms

If you are installing by uploading the zip file via the WordPress dashboard you can:

    - Deactivate Gravity Forms
    - Delete Gravity Forms
    - Go to Plugins > Add New and Choose Upload
    - Upload the new plugin zip file
    - Activate Gravity Forms

Your forms are stored in your WordPress database, not in the file system. The only way to delete your forms is via the UNINSTALL option on the Gravity Forms settings page. Never use that unless you want to completely remove Gravity Forms.
