Notification Date Format

  1. Question: is it possible to change the date-format in the notification emails?
I can change the format from yyyy/mm/dd to dd/mm/yyyy in the form itself, but in the notification email, it's still yyyy/mm/dd

Is there any way to change this?

    Help is much appreciated!

  2. I'll look into this, it should output it in the format you selected when setting up the field. Could be a bug. I'll check it out.

  4. I have had this same experience but didn't really think about it too much. I just accepted that the notification was different.

I have my date format set up as mm/dd/yyyy, and in my notification I use this field {Desired Appointment Date:5} in the subject line of my notification. When the email arrives, the date looks like this: 2010-05-28 (YYYY-MM-DD).

You can submit the form here and will receive a copy of your submission; you will see what I mean. Notifications come to me, so it's not a problem to submit a test.

There are two other date fields for the date the form was submitted, but this is unrelated to those.

I'd be happy to hear that it's a bug. I would like the date formatted the same way in both places, or at least be able to control the format.

  5. I believe it is a bug, it's not formatting the date the way the field is configured to format it. We will look into correcting this or providing date display options when using that form field variable.

  6. I'm also having the same issue with the Notification to User its showing yyyy/mm/dd, and depending on the day its causing some confusion with people. I'm not sure how to fix this.

  7. @Pippin as mentioned in my reply above, this is a known bug and there is nothing you can do to fix it on your end. It one of the fixes and enhancements we will be releasing in an update next week.
