Notification not working

  1. I set up a new form and the notifications are not working at all. There is not email sent to admin or to submitting email. I have both the variables set up in the notification settings but still not working. Form is located at:

    Thank you!

  2. What do you mean you have both the variables setup in the notification settings? If you are running Gravity Forms v1.4.5 then variables aren't supported in the Send To fields, they are only supported in the Message Body.

You either have to type in a specific email address the email should go to, or in some cases there is a drop down to select an email field on your form that is used for the Send To.

If emails aren't being sent this could be one of a few different things.

    - Are you only having problems sending email to your own email address? Have you tested with other email addresses like a gmail.com email address or a @yahoo.com email address for instance? If you host your email with Google Apps and aren't receiving email notifications, this is a web server configuration issue.

    - Depending on your web host you may need to configure your WordPress site to send mail via SMTP. You would need to install and configure this plugin:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

To get the proper SMTP settings you would need to contact your web host.

  3. You were right, it was an issue on my SMTP on the web host. The plugin you recommended worked well. Thank you!
