Notification to Administrator is not sending

    Dear friends,
notification to administrator functionality does not work for my standard WP 3.2.1 site ( http://w3fusionmarketing.com/test/ ) .
But for my WP 3.2.1 multisite with exact same configuration, all notifications work ok.
    Where could be a problem?
    Thanks a lot,
    Martin

  2. Hi Mato,

Are these sites on the same server? Did you confirm that the admin email address is correct? Are you receiving any other WordPress emails at the admin email address (ie New User signup)?

    Hi David,
I investigated the issue a little bit more.
If I well remember, I de-activated automatic WordPress notifications and I am using WPMU Membership Communications Emails. I did not like the original emails to my members and I replaced them by my specific emails.
And this probably could de-actvate also your email notifications to administrator. Am I right?
    Thanks,
    Martin

  5. It's possible other plugins can interfere, yes. Depending on how they manipulate the WordPress wp_mail function and if they apply filters to it.

Do the User Notifications work? Is it only the Admin Notifications that don't work? Have you tested using different email addresses that use unrelated domain names such as a @gmail.com or @yahoo.com email address?

If the User Notifications are working and the Admin Notifications are not then it's not an email issue, it's going to be related to where you are sending the email. If emails aren't being received to an email that uses the same domain name as the site, it's going to be a web server configuration issue.
