Notifications- Basic

  1. Hello All,

I know this is stupid but the other forum comments just do not make sense to me. I am not a techie! When someone completes a form on my website, I do not receive an email notification and have no way of knowing that the form was completed unless I go to my WP dashboard. I believe the notification setting are set up properly but I have no way of confirming. Please advise.

    Thank you!

  2. The first thing to do is to look at the Notification settings for the form and make sure everything appears correct.

If everything appears correct the next thing to do is to make sure the notification emails aren't being flagged as spam by your email provider.

Another thing to do is to test with a different email address, such as a GMail.com or Yahoo.com email address and again check to make sure it doesn't end up in spam.

If none of the above works, then it's going to be a web server issue of some sort. Your web server is what sends the email. Who is your web host?

    Hello,
I want to sent the notification to 4 people at a time but I saw there is only one option to sent notification (site administrator only). Is there any way to do that?
    Please help for this.

    Thanks

  4. You can enter multiple email addresses in the notification "Send to email" field. Just separate them with a comma and no spaces, like this:

    admin∂aol.com,webmaster@lisabell.com,sales@lisabell.com,chrishajer@gmail.com

However, some hosts do not allow multiple email addresses in the "To:" field. You will have to test with your host to be sure. If it does not work on your host, you can use the BCC field in the same way (multiple email addresses separated by commas, no spaces.)

If you're having trouble with email notifications arriving after you make these changes, you might have to configure a plugin to deliver mail from WordPress via SMTP. Here's one we like:

    WP Mail SMTP
