Notifications Message TinyMCE Editor

  1. It appears that if you try to customize the standard TinyMCE Editor in any way this causes the Gravity Forms Notifications Message Editor to break. I lifted some code straight from WordPress Codex, put this is a plugin and encountered the exact same "symptoms" as the poster in this thread. Deleting my TinyMCE customisations fixed the issue.

  2. What happened when you tried the customization? What was shown on screen or what failed to work?

  3. Hi Chris, I had exactly the same result as the poster in the referenced thread - i.e. the message text became white on a white textarea background, all formatting buttons were lost and I was unable to swap between HTML and Visual view - see the previous posters pic. The code I used to format the TinyMCE editor was lifted straight from the WordPress Codex.

  4. Can you post the exact code you are using, at pastebin.com or pastie.org so we can see the customizations you are making? I'd like to try and recreate your environment and see what happens. Please provide the plugin code and let us know if you made any other changes.

  5. Hi Chris, my code was exactly as you see at the bottom of this Codex page. My functionality plugin had a bunch of other stuff in it - removing this one block of code fixed the problem.
