Notifications, WP SMTP plugin and subdomains

  1. Hi,

I have read through many of your posts here regarding notifications not being sent successfully and attempted some of the fixes with no success.

I wanted to ask, is there an issue if Im running a multisite setup that comprises of sites that have been set up on subdomains, which now redirect to domains via an A record, (hope that makes sense).

Am I missing something vital here?

    Thanks guys!

  3. Can you explain what you need help with right now?

Gravity Forms immediately hands the email notification off to wp_mail(). If you are using an SMTP plugin for WordPress, that hijacks wp_mail() and it then becomes responsible for sending the notification. Beyond that, the delivery is up to the SMTP server in use and the email server and client on the other end.
