Number of Entries is Wrong, and it sent me 61 blank notices

  1. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to title this post... Let's just start with a screenshot:

Basically, above the list table and in the pagination, it shows that we have 80 entries. But in the table itself it says "This form does not have any entries yet."

A couple of hours ago, we received 61 blank email notifications, all with the same timestamp. The emails did not contain anything at all, and the notification is set up properly to display all fields. To be fair, this is a one-field form (email signup) and it's hooked in to mailchimp with that plugin, and I admit that I forgot to set the email field to required -- so that might have been part of the problem.

Even with my oversight, it doesn't explain why we received 61 notifications, and the list table shows conflicting info that there are both 0 and 80 entries.

Any suggestions as to what went wrong, and how to fix this table?

  2. Did you ever sort this out? I have 13 entries displaying at the top (number), but only 7 entries in the actual list. The unread number has entries as well, though all entries have been read.

  3. No - I never got any help with this. Now there are 18 actual entries, but it says 98 entries, and there 4 blank pages after the first page. It's a nuisance, but doesn't seem to be interfering with anything that I know of.

Would like to know what it was -- do you have insight, or are you seeing the same thing?

  4. Is either site using a caching plugin? That can cause problems with views, view counts, entries, etc.

Additionally, as a first troubleshooting step, please test for theme and plugin conflicts by following these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing
