I'm creating a BBForum for the first time next week. I'm excited, however, not so thrilled with the theme selection out there. Does anyone here know of a good place to find a bbpress theme? Even if i have to pay a little? I noticed that Gravity is running BBpress and I like the simplisticness of it all and want the same for my project. I apologize if I broke any forum rules for posting this here.

I'm not aware of any good bbPress themes. The Gravity Forms support forum does use bbPress but it's a heavily modified theme we created ourselves.
You may want to check out the bbPress plugin project which is turning bbPress into a plugin. Eventually bbPress won't be a standalone app, but simply a WordPress plugin.

I wonder what will happen once that goes into affect. Will our bbpress installations get toasted, or will there be a conversion script to sync the original bbpress install into the wordpress install with the plugin?
Also, where is a good source of discussion for this project? I would love to start contributing.

I'm not 100% sure what the migration plan is for the bbPress plugin. I would imagine they would do some sort of import function.
The bbPress site is the only resource I can think of as far as discussion goes.
