Online Assesment Tool - Can Gravity do this?

  1. I have a client that is looking to build a special form. It's an assessment tool that would "grade" a particular user's input and subsequently spit out a different result depending on the total it compiles (numbered ratings, 1 through 5).

So, there would be a list of radios (about 10) that have a choice of 1 through 5. On submit, the form would compile the ratings into a total and then spit out a different message + hyperlink depending on what their total is.

Can Gravity Forms do anything like this?

  2. Currently scoring/grading isn't built in functionality. It would be possible to do what you describe, calculate a total, etc. but it would have to be done via customization using available API hooks. You would have to calculate the score, etc. and save it in a hidden field that you want to use to store the final score.

I'm looking for similar functionality. If it's not coming anytime soon from Gravity Forms itself, is there a community of developers who assist people with custom code? How do I reach out to that community?

  4. There are developers on here that do customizations and add-ons. You can search for Gravity Forms in the wordpress.org plugin repository and find a handful of Add-Ons developed by 3rd party developers that you could try contacting regarding an Add-On like this.
