Outlook not getting notifications

  1. I checked the forums - nothing that matches my problem. Notifications for submission works with everyone EXCEPT those using Outlook. Tried it with multiple computers, on multiple ISPs with multiple servers handling email - nothing is the same except the fact they are using Outlook as the email client. Is not in junk or spam folder.

Any ideas of why Outlook would "lose" these notifications. All other notifications work - just not with outlook.

Doesn't sound like a Gravity Forms issue. Once e-mail is sent, it is pretty much up to the Internet and mail clients to handle it. We can't and don't include anything that would make Outlook upset. Gravity Forms uses WordPress' built-in wp-mail functions. You could try a SMTP plugin for WordPress to see if you can bypass wp-mail and get better results, but beyond that, I'm not sure what would be causing an Outlook specific issue.

  3. If it is an outlook problem I would think you'd have a lot more complaints here.

I know some others think the smtp plugins cause more problems than they solve but I'll try it.
