pass field data to confirmation page and URL prams plugin

    Hi
    I want to pass field data to a confirmation page. I have selected the redirect and checked pass field data but I am unsure what to do next. I see there is a dropdown to add merg tag. Do I just select the desired fields using this dropdown and add the tags to the paragraph text field? Do I need to add anything else? I have downloaded URL Prams plugin and added the shortcode to the confirmation page but it does not work. I have been trying all day but can't get it to work. Can anyone walk me through this?
