Pay pal add on - donation

    Hi,

I'm using WP, 3.5.1, multisite with Domain mapping Plugin, with your last version of Paypal add on. I have some problems:

1 - in the WP back office I can't see Gravity Form add on (I downloaded them through your site)
2 - I'm using pay pal donation: is it possibile to pass through the form some hidden value like: ID donation.
3 - I created a donation botton with paypal backoffice. Is it possible to pass through the form the hosted_button_id value (the button code I have created)?
4 - I can't use paypal with Transaction Type for Product and Services to obtain a Donation form. I have a form made of these fields: Name, Email, Product (the price is defined by the user). I see paypal page, I can fill in the fields, but I can't finish my payment process. The system always returns me this errore: you must choose a payment method.
5 - Can I set an automatic redirect to my site, just after the end of the payment?

    Thank you,

    Kinds,
    Daniele

  2. 1 - Did you install and activate the PayPal add-on? Are you using PayPal Pro or Standard?

2 - I'm not sure what you are referring to here - what are you trying to do?

3 - That's not how our integration works, see this page:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/PayPal_Add-On

4 - See question in my response to #1 above.

5 - Yes, you would set this in the form confirmation settings.

    Thank you for your answer.

I'm using Paypal Standard. I installed the plugin and I solved some problems, but I have still these issues:

1 - General: I can't see gravity form paypal add on thought my wp backoffice; when I click in the main manu the voice "Add-on" I receive this message: "Add-On browser is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

2 - I can't redirect the user to another page after paypal payment. I set as confirmation the option page; I selected a page of my site, but after the payment the landing page is the form one. May be related to the SSL certification (I haven't it in my wp site)

    Thank you,
    Daniele

Do Gravity Forms with Paypal Add-on need SSL certificate? Could the system work without it?

  5. The PayPal Standard add-on does not need an SSL certificate because payment happens on PayPal's site.

Thank you; Regarding my problem with redirect url (I can't redirect the user to another page after paypal payment, not the one of the form. I set as confirmation the option page; I selected a page of my site, but after the payment the landing page is the form one); what I can do?

  7. Are you running the latest version of the PayPal Standard add-on? Version 1.8?

I tried to update it through my wp back office, but I didn't succeed. How can I do it manually?

You can download the add-ons on this site. Look for Download Add-ons over to the right hand side of the page, near the top.

Ok thank you, but I installed the update directly over the old version installed plugin?

I always suggest people remove the files using FTP and then upload the new version to make sure no remnant files are left behind to cause issues. All of your forms and settings are stored within the database.
